STATEMENT
My oil paintings are reflections of my personal experiences in nature and with animals. My goal is to portray the spirit of the animal and evoke emotion in the viewer. Dramatic lighting and color help to set the mood of my paintings.
BIOGRAPHY
Beth is a professional artist, showing her work in several East coast galleries. She had 4 years of training in fine art and illustration, before becoming an oil painter. Beginning with wildlife and waterfowl shows from New York State to Virginia, she expanded her subject matter to include equine sports like racing and foxhunting. An avid rider for 45 years, Beth brings knowledge of equine anatomy and various equine sports to help enhance her equine paintings. Portraits of dogs, cats, and horses are her specialty.
