STATEMENT
I am passionate about my art. I learned much about painting from my father who was recognized as an artist in France and then came to America. I believe that artists should paint not only what they believe is beautiful but also tell a story about modern life.

She was a competitive horse trainer for 25 years before turning her passion for animals to a passion for art. She lives with her husband and son in Hopewell New Jersey.

BIOGRAPHY
Cecile Bruck was born in France and now lives with her husband and son in Hopewell, NJ. Her father was a renowned painter and sculptor and received the Legion of Honor from the French government prior to his death in 2023. He was an inspiration to Cecile’s art. In many ways, Cecile is carrying on the approach to art that her father used. She brings a touch of surrealism to some of her paintings and likes to also flirt with realism. Her preferred medium is oil on wood. She has shown her art at several shows including Phillips Mill, Tewksbury and the Princeton Arts Council.
