STATEMENT
Using my photographs along with graphite, pastel, and modeling paste I try to create a world from a captured moment in life.
BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth was born and raised in Los Angeles during the 60’s 70’s, and 80’s. She took up photography at the age of twelve with a Kodak camera given to her by her grandmother. With the advent of digital photography, Elizabeth found she missed the tactile experience of working in a darkroom and the anticipation of what the photograph would reveal. She found herself gravitating toward painting. After several years working in oil, Elizabeth moved on to acrylics and mixed media.
