Susanne is an artist and Art Therapist who has used art as a conduit for healing. She has won many awards and her work has been included in several books.

STATEMENT
My work is composed from fairy tales, myths and dreams and contain both universal and mythic themes. I like to think of the 3 dimensional works as talismans – focusing energy, in particular towards healing. The colors are vibrant – reflecting my time spent in the Southwest and South America.
BIOGRAPHY
Susanne Pitak Davis is both an artist and art therapist. She earned a BA in art education from Montclair University and a Masters Degree from Pratt. She is known for her brightly painted sculptures and has had shows at the Ellarslie and Clinton Art Center as well as exhibiting widely. Her first one woman show was at the Unicorn Gallery in La Jolla Ca. She has won many awards and has won the Patrons Award for sculpture several times at Phillips Mill. As an art therapist she has worked with many populations, her most recent being with inmates at New Jersey State Prison. Her work is in collections internationally.
